More of a show piece than a pet

This frog is awesome. It requires very little in terms of space or materials. You just need to give it a medium in which it can burrow, a water dish at least as big as the frog is around, and a bit of warmth.

You won't see more than the frogs eyes very often. It hunts by sitting still and waiting for pray to cross its path. Then it darts out and attempts to swallow it whole.

My pacman frog was an albino variation and it looked beautiful. Since it is extremely inactive except for feeding time it doesn't provide much entertainment. My frog got to the size where it needed to be fed pinky mice. It was brutal to watch, but amazing at the same time.

Also, watching them do the poop dance in their water dish is hilariously disgusting. It's an easy pet for kids to care for with just a bit of help from mom and dad.
