Although green tree frogs are one of the most common and easily accessible frogs I personally found that they are not the simplest of animals to care for. I acquired my frog from a local pet shop along with its small enclosure and greenery I assumed it would be just as simply to care for it at home. But I quickly found that this little frog needed a specific temperature and amount of cover to be happy. To top that off the tank had to be cleaned on a weekly basis but only with a specific cleaner as to not harm the animal. Although it was easy to handle it was rather difficult to care for and after a little over a year I decided it was not the best animal for my needs.
