Excellent Starter Tree Frogs

These guys can be found all over the southern states, especially in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana. It's also pretty easy to find them in some local pet stores and many breeders have them online for sale.

They don't require special heat lamps or other specialized items in their cages. However, they do need space to climb, so getting a tank for them that is taller than longer is key. They eat small crickets and other smaller insects which you can buy at local pet stores. And, they'll need plenty of substrate like leaves and branches to hide in and climb on.

If you're wanting to get a good starter tree frog, these are it. You will want to make sure that you read up on them before you get some and have their cage set up and food ready. Overall, you'll love them.
