American Green Tree Frog

These are great hardy frogs. They are most amuzing when they hop across the terrarium and when they hunt. This tree frog is mostly active at night, at day it sleeps a lot and is not active (especially when someone is watching).

What is great about them is they are great for beginners, not very picky, and they are a very nice tree frog. I hold mine and it sticks right to my finger, then after a while finds a place to jump to. They are very easy to catch, and sometimes get out. Mine got out twice but I easily caught him.

Health, these can get stressed easily. I used to have two, now one because it passed away. Remember also, tree frogs have sensitive skin and are not to be held too often, all tree frogs get stressed easily from moving place to place.

These tree frogs come from North America. So you want to keep a temperature between 70 to 80 degrees at day, and 65 to 75 at night.

Right now my frog is thriving in an Exo Terra 12x12x18 with a bonsai, vine, small water dish, and eco earth bedding.

In conclusion, these frogs are recommended, easy to find, and great.
