American Bullfrogs As Pets

Some people like frogs, others do not. Children are the most likely ones to discover a giant frog and want to keep it as a pet. This review is for the parents of those children. You just can't keep a bullfrog as a pet. Here's why...

Frogs cannot survive in a contained environment. They need to be outside in their own natural habitat. They cannot just be fed flies. If you try to feed a frog just flies it will slowly become sick. It will die day by day. Frogs don't want to eat what is fed to them. They want to be in their own habitat catching and seeking out their own food. Bullfrogs are meant to be picked up, looked at, brought to mom and dad and then released back into the wild. They are NOT meant to be kept as pets.
