Goliath the Bullfrog

One summer day, my dad found a huge bullfrog in the ravine near our house. We took the bullfrog home with us. My dad built a large outdoor enclosure, complete with mini pond, for the frog. We named the bullfrog "Goliath" because he was so big.

We tried to keep Goliath supplied with worms and insects to eat, but it wasn't easy; he had a big appetite.

Our bullfrog didn't do very much, besides sitting in his pool. I don't even remember him croaking much.

Goliath enjoyed his pool, but he did not stay with us for long. One day, he went missing. He must have made his way back to the nearby ravine.

Frogs need water included in their habitat. They need more water than toads do.
