From Tadpole to Bullfrog, a child's lesson

Many kids who live in areas prone to bullfrogs collected them during the rainy seasons. I was no exception. Every time the lot across from the house filled with water, the inevitable croaking would wash over the front lawn like an invitation to play when I was a child. Most I returned to the wild, although we did raise a few tadpoles in a fish tank. They were easy to care for, fun to feed, and relatively low maintenance. They could also be surprisingly active, as well. They gave me treasured memories as a kid, and I will definitely always love these little guys for that!
