I have had several bullfrogs as a child. I remember only being allowed to keep them for a day or two before having to let the frog go. These frogs are so much fun to have around, but they just belong outside (preferably in a pond or other body of water). They will not be happy in a cage. They are usually a very active frog, and require a lot of space. They will also grow to be very large if allowed to live in their natural habitat. I love these frogs, but my policy on them is catch and release. I let my girls play with the frog for a few minutes and then let it go where I found it.
