African Dwarf Frog

African Dwarf Frogs are a great pet for those who do not have a lot of time to groom or walk an animal. They are very self-sufficient and self-contained. Every other day, you feed the frog two tablets of Frog and Tadpole bites. The aquarium should also be cleaned once a week. They are very attractive frogs and I have not had any problems with having multiple frogs in the same tank. They are very visible during the day and night. Often, I would stand in front of their tank and just watch them gracefully float or swim in their water to keep myself entertained. Their food is very easy to find at local petstores, but the frogs themselves may be a little harder to find. Children can easily take care of this pet with parental supervision over the times they are fed. The only difficult part was making sure their water was nice and warm during the winter as they could freeze.
