We acquired these frogs from one of those nature magazines for kids that also sell butterflies. There were originally six of them. One of the eggs did not hatch. Runt died as a tadpole. Kermit and Robin were small but a little aggressive and were eaten by Mr. Jackson. The remaining frog, Mr. Jeremy Fisher lived a long and happy life until he died and was then also eaten by Mr. Jackson. Despite the title of this review, I loved that frog. He was hilariously jumpy and once got out the tank when the top was removed so the water could be cleaned. We found him a little later, sort of dried out but still alive. We popped him back into the water, and bam! He was fine. Weirdest pet I've ever owned but I would buy one again.
