Cute Fragile Friends- Good for Small Spaces

I think back fondly to when I had frogs. We had 2 of them- they lived in a bowl together and we only expected them to live a month, tops. Those guys lived for almost a year! I don't know how rare that is, but they are little guys who swim around and they're fragile, like fish, but a little more versatile.

Frankly, it'd be better to keep them in a legit aquarium, especially one with a filter, but this was the early 90s and we didn't want to invest in this particular pet. They were cute, we fed them, occasionally took them out to play with them but put them quickly back in water. I don't know if this is frowned upon but they were okay and they seemed to like jumping around on land/counter space/the floor for a few moments in a small area.

Keep in mind, these guys were tiny- like two inches long I'd say. Super cute, more fun to watch than fish, but not a huge life expectancy. Great if you don't have space and don't need the affirmation of a cuddly pet!
