I had a few of these frogs as a teenager, I usually had 2 at a time. I liked them because they were cute and fun to watch swim around. The best thing about them is that in the spring the males "sing". They're always inexpensive, they don't need a very large or complex aquarium setup, and their food is inexpensive as well. The downsides are that you can't hold them, and their lifespans tends to be rather short. They're rather susceptible to a bloating disease that results in death.
