African dwarf frogs (ADFs) are great little tankmates. You can keep them in a frog-only tank or with other, peaceful fish, although they may nip at long fins thinking they're a snack! They must stay completely underwater, although they will come up to the surface to breathe, so make sure there is adequate space between your tank lid (which you'll need because these guys jump) and the water level. Their diet consists of special frog pellets as well as bloodworms, brineshrimp, and various other fry.
ADFs like to have a lot of hiding places, and you can often see them peeking out at you if you look closely. They will also find a place to perch with one foot and let the rest of their body float. This is a natural state of rest for them. ADFs are simply too cute and simple to keep to not have in your tank!
