I've had Sminth (don't judge his strange name) for pretty much as long as I've had my little freshwater tank.

Since he is an aquatic frog, he really isn't meant to be handled, which is why I gave him such a low rating in that regard. And, he's really indifferent towards people; he can be a little skittish really.

Visibility is on the lower end as well because he enjoys hiding behind or beneath the pirate ship I have in my tank. And, it seems like the main time he likes to be active is at night. When he is active, however, he's tons of fun to watch. He darts back and forth between the bottom and top of the tank.

Someone at a pet store told me that I shouldn't feed him frog pellets because he'd hate them, that I had to buy things like freeze dried blood worms for him. There's nothing wrong with that, but dwarf frogs are bottom feeders, so you have to figure out a way to make sure they get to the frog. Mine has been eating frog pellets for years and seems to enjoy them.
