This frog will live up to 30 years and is illegal to release into most wild waters due to the impact resulting from their diet. The diet for the African Clawed Frog is any thing that fits in its mouth... literally. Pet African Clawed frogs eat goldfish you buy at the pet store. It's entertaining to watch them eat. They will chase the fish and shove the fish in their mouth with their front legs. They get really fat when they eat and skinny when they are hungry.
