My Albino frogs

For my birthday about 10 years ago, my dear mom got me an unusual present; two African frogs. I had never seen or heard about these kinds of frogs before, they definitely looked quite unusual. The frogs where almost white, they had claws and red eyes. I set them up in a nice aquarium and fed them frozen bloodworms every day. They were very interesting to watch as they ate by stuffing their mouths with their little clawed hands. I named the frogs Piff and Puff.

They were very small when I got them, but to my surprise grew to almost 5 inches. Piff sadly died a couple of years ago, but Puff is still alive and well. Puff now lives with my mom, since I moved out of the country.

These frogs are very interesting creatures. They can live for a long time so it’s quite a commitment you make when you buy them, not to mention they require a large aquarium to live in.
