Sweet Rocco had been living at a local land fill for over a month! He was so scared and would run away when people tried to help him - no one could catch him. We borrowed a live trap, and within two days the little guy was caught. Rocco is now safe here with us, and he is doing well. He is meeting new people, dogs and cats and is enjoying it all (overly excited dogs can be a little much for him). Rocco is a petit little guy (around 50 pounds) who is house trained and loves car rides. He listens well and loves to play with squeaky toys. Rocco has really bonded with us, and it appears as though he has some separation anxiety - he does not want to be contained, and he does not want to be left alone - he has climbed six foot tall fences to find us. We are currently working with him on his anxiety issues and he is responding well. Rocco would do best in a quiet home with someone who understands separation anxiety. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about this very special dog.
